Once in a while I take a break from old stones, chestnut beams and the stunning hills in which these houses are nestled and I plunge into modern architecture, for the most part in urban areas, made of glass, plaster, copper/titanium roofs and above all light and open spaces. This is a modern, colorful interior with polished white resin floor in a former farm annex on the outskirts of Umbertide. The original dark timber has given way to a relaxing white ceiling. The living area is all open with the trullo-like fireplace that divides the sitting area from the shiny, curved black kitchen.
